Basingstoke and around
A local engineer, about 19 miles from Basingstoke
Basingstoke is about 19 miles from DWM's base in Andover, straight along the A303 and M3, so it is a regular run for Dexter rather than a long trip. Customers on the RG23 side of the town, west of the centre, are among the people who have left DWM five star reviews.
Most Basingstoke homes run on mains gas, so the jobs Dexter does most here are yearly gas boiler services, breakdowns, and swapping a tired boiler for a new combi. He also fits air conditioning, which is worth a look in the newer, well insulated houses around the town that can get warm upstairs in summer.
There is no call centre. You speak to Dexter, he gives you the price, and he is the engineer who turns up to do the work.

★★★★★
After smelling gas around our boiler, I called DWM and Dexter was with us within 30 mins. He diagnosed a few issues, sourced the parts and fixed our boiler within a few hours - at a very fair price! He’s polite and knowledgable and I hope to use Dexter for all future plumbing work.

Dexter replaced our old vented heating system and hot water cylinder with a new combi in our loft, including a new gas run from our garage. Dexter is extremely polite, tidy and his work is first class. Turned up on time and worked hard to finish the job on schedule. ...

Communication was excellent, the job was booked in, executed very quickly and left in a tidy state. More expensive than I was expecting but I’m just glad the issues are fixed. Would definitely recommend to others.
