Stockbridge and around
A local engineer, about 7 miles from Stockbridge
Stockbridge is about 7 miles down the A3057 from Andover, in the same Test Valley council area, so it is one of the closest places Dexter works.
Most of the villages around Stockbridge, from the Wallops to Houghton and Longstock, are off the mains gas grid. Homes there usually heat with oil or LPG, and Dexter is OFTEC registered for oil and Gas Safe registered for LPG and gas.
Older cottages and country houses often need more than a boiler swap: a new cylinder, extra radiators, or pipework sorted properly. Dexter looks at the whole system and tells you what is worth doing.
What Stockbridge homes usually need
- Yearly oil boiler services in villages off the gas grid
- LPG boiler servicing and repairs
- New oil or LPG boilers when the old one is past saving
- Hot water cylinders and radiators in older houses
- Leaks, taps and toilets sorted properly

Could not fault Dexter. Amazing communication throughout and happy to answer all questions we had. Came out very quickly to assess the issue with our water pressure, immediately knew a suitable fix, and came out a week later to fix it. Very professional job and will definitely be using DWM again for any future plumbing issues. ...

Dexter was absolutely brilliant. Contacted him via check a trade for a boiler service. Dexter arrived and noticed a few issues with the boiler before doing the service. He explained the issues and then sent us a quote which we accepted. Dexter arrived on the agreed time and date. Dexter completed the works and the service on the boiler. ...
